Fantastic wilderness vacation resort! Mar Mac Lodge has been my summer vacation destination for many years and never disappoints. Rustic clean cabins, reliable boats and motors, delicious meals and fantastic owners and dedicated staff who will make every effort to ensure your stay is a memorable one. Oh and the walleye and pike fishing can’t be beat!
Great staff! Great accommodations! Delicious food! A great place to get a way from it all. So easy to book a trip with Mar Mac and their staff is so friendly and helpful at every turn. You really feel like family after a stay here. If you're thinking of a northern getaway, think of these guys. My brother and I have been to MarMac 4 times and are planning to go back this spring. It is terrific- great fishing, and great service, along with good food and facilities. I Have had the distinct privilege of making two summer Fly in fishing trips with my sons. The staff was extremely welcoming the accommodations in one of the houses was very comfortable and most importantly the fishing was terrific. We did have a guide which helped us so much and the highlight of our week was the shore lunches which our guide prepared for us on the various islands. At the end of a long day of fishing we loved going back to shower then go to the dining room for a delicious home-cooked meal. Cold beer made it even better!. Now that I have five grandsons I am thinking ahead to taking them and make this a generational tradition.

I just got back from a 4 day stay at Mar Mac Lodge. It was such a great experience. Besides the amazing fishing, the cabins are clean and suit your needs. The host are very welcoming along with the staff. If you want to fish this is the place!!
This was an amazing experience. The staff were so very kind and helpful. The cabins were nice and clean and the experience was everything I had hoped for. The owners were very easy to work with to coordinate the trip and accommodated my many questions with quick responses.
Our group has traveled to many remote fishing locations in Ontario for over 20 years. Not until we found White River Air and Mar Mac Lodge did we stop searching for the perfect outposts. We are so impressed with not just the quality of fishing, but the quality of people that run these businesses. Top notch, all the way. And wonderful meals, clean cabins and stable boats to boot! The experience is everything we ever dreamed it could be. We cannot wait to go back!
